Description

A delicious and hearty dish made with refrigerated biscuits and homemade sausage gravy, perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8-count) can of refrigerated biscuits
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spray your crockpot with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. Cut each biscuit into quarters and place half into the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned. Do not drain.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir until combined.
  5. Slowly pour in milk while stirring to make the gravy. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cook the gravy until it thickens, about 3–5 minutes.
  7. Pour the gravy over the biscuits in the crockpot.
  8. Top with the remaining biscuit pieces.
  9. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours or until biscuits are cooked through.

  • This dish is best served warm and can be garnished with additional black pepper if desired.
