- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- a pinch of nutmeg
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup non-alcoholic beer
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Then, add the egg and non-alcoholic beer, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
- Using a tablespoon, drop rounded scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
