Description

A delicious grilled chicken recipe topped with a flavorful pepperoncini garlic butter.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup sliced pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 tablespoon pepperoncini juice
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry and place them in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper over the chicken. Rub the seasonings evenly onto both sides.
  2. Preheat the Grill: Heat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to help prevent sticking.
  3. Grill the Chicken: Place the chicken on the hot grill and cook for about 5–7 minutes per side depending on thickness until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  4. Make the Pepperoncini Garlic Butter: While the chicken grills, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the sliced pepperoncini peppers, pepperoncini juice, parsley, and red pepper flakes. Let the mixture simmer gently for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Finish and Serve: Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving platter. Spoon the warm Pepperoncini Garlic Butter generously over the top. Serve immediately.
