Ingredients

  • 1⅓ cups ground psyllium husk powder
  • 1¼ cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds (optional for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the psyllium husk powder, almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, and salt until evenly combined.
  3. Add the hot water, apple cider vinegar, and egg whites. Stir quickly with a spoon or spatula until a thick dough forms.
  4. Let the dough rest for 1 to 2 minutes, then divide it into 12 equal pieces and shape into rolls.
  5. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with sesame seeds if using.
  6. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, until firm and lightly golden.
  7. Let cool completely before slicing.
