Chocolate Caramel Clusters

Description

Delicious chocolate-covered caramel clusters made with chewy caramels, mini marshmallows, and almonds.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 bags Werther’s Original Chewy Caramels
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup almonds, (coarsely chopped)
  • 16 ounces H-E-B Chocolate Candy Coating, (or your favorite melting chocolate)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees and line (2) baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Cut each caramel into 3 pieces.
  3. Place a little bit of almonds, marshmallow, and a couple pieces of caramel in a pile on the baking sheet.
  4. Fill the baking sheet with little piles of nuts, marshmallows, and caramels.
  5. Place in the oven and bake just until the caramel starts to melt.
  6. Remove from the oven and once cool enough to handle, make sure all of the ingredients are stuck together, and place back on the baking sheet.
  7. Once all the clusters are formed, melt chocolate according to package directions.
  8. Place a couple clusters at a time into the chocolate.
  9. Completely cover each cluster with chocolate and place on the baking sheet.
  10. Repeat until all the clusters are coated.
  11. Let the chocolate set up and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container.
  • Experiment with different types of nuts or additions for variety.
